Dressage with the Stars 2008

We had three horses entered to compete at DWTS. Mayfield Noble (Jet Set D/Rocadero/ Northern Commander 1) in the four year old, Mayfield Miracle ( Rotspon/ Calypso Classic/ Star Kingdom) in the five year old and Mayfield Pzazz in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Free style. At the last minute Kerry was also invited to ride Whisper in the Master Class with Juergen and Christoph Koeschel.

Mayfield Noble ridden by Brya was the first from the Mayfield team to be competed. He handled the four year old material class well coping with the scary atmosphere of the indoor. He warmed up really well for his second test but he was lacking energy once in the arena. For more experience we entered him in the consolation final in which he performed well to place second. We were very pleased with Rusty as it was only his third competition.

Mayfield Miracle went beautifully in his ridden test, he is really beginning to understand the idea of collection. We were very disappointed with his score and we along with other spectators thought he would finish in the top ten. We entered Miracle in the consolation final in which he completed another lovely test and placed second.

Pzazz and Kerry looked like a true partnership in the Grand Prix and the GP Freestyle. With the work becoming more established Pzazz is looking truly sensational. Kerry has been extremely grateful of Joern Kubelke's expertise from the ground. As a combination they finished 6 th in the GP and %th in the GP Freestyle.

Whisper was a true gentleman in the Mini Master Class on the Thursday night with Kerry on board. He was relaxed and took the atmosphere in his stride. A true showman.
