Ulla Clinic

On June 12 & 13, Whisper and I attended an Australian Squad clinic with team coach Ulla Salzgeber. Whisper was fresh off his first Grand Prix start with me, his second Grand Prix in total, and consequently my first Grand Prix test.  We won our first start so our confidence was high coming into the clinic.  On the first day Whisper worked his heart out and surprised Ulla.  She commented that she was very impressed with what she saw and planned to ask a little more on the second day.  On day two, after the warm up, we started by riding the second Piaffe/Passage tour in the Grand Prix.  Whisper showed us in this tour, that he has talent for the collected work and will be a very strong Grand Prix horse in the future.  From this clinic, Whisper has shown us all that he will not only be a future Grand Prix horse for Australia, but one of few stallions that can actually perform at the top level.  Thankyou to Kerry Mack and Mayfield Farm for investing in such an amazing horse!"
